YEAR 11 

Year 11 Key Dates: Term 2 and Term 3

Year 11 Wellbeing Day

On the 20th of June the students took part in all things Wellbeing. We started the day off with a breakfast BBQ and then the students rotated through activities on Health and Nutrition, Alcohol Awareness, MMA wrestling and Mindfulness. The day finished off with a motivational speaker and musician, Fablice Manirakiza from South Africa with a story of his unique life’s journey. The students were fantastic during the day and all got involved in the sessions.

Year 11 Presentation Ball 2019

Currently we have 19 Year 11 couples signed up to do the Presentation Ball. Please see below lesson schedule that will be held in the red foyer at the College. If students would like to be a part of the ball they need to be at the first rehearsal date.

BALL DATE:  Presentation Ball Thursday 19th September 2019.

VENUE: “The Grand on Princes” 2251 Princes Hwy Mulgrave.

Northern Territory Tour 2019

The tour date is Friday June 21st- Wednesday 3rd July.  The students and staff are all very excited, we will keep parents informed vis school facebook page.  

Senior School VCE Homework Club

Senior School Homework club is running every Wednesday night after school from 3:00pm-4:15pm in the Yellow Building. It’s been great to see so many students working with teachers to improve their results.

Year 11 VCAL

VCAL Homework Club

VCAL Homework Club runs every Thursday in OP01/OP02 from 3:10pm to 4:10pm. Consent forms can be obtained from homegroup teachers or from Mrs Greenwood in the Y11 office. 

Personal Development Skills and Cranbourne East Primary School

In their Personal Development Skills subject students have continued their work with Cranbourne East Primary School to provide reading support and develop literacy skills with the junior levels of the school. Further, in Personal Development Skills this term and next students will begin to examine Social Issues and the organisations and individuals who are affected and supported. As students move toward young adulthood they will also have the opportunity to learn about the Australian Voting System whilst they vote on a class project and will participate in an incursion with the Victorian Electoral Commission on July 23rd.

YEAR 12

Year 12 Key Dates: Term 2 and Term 3

Year 12 Motivational Day

On Monday June 17th the entire year 12 cohort got to take a break from the stresses of the classroom and spent the day off site at Federation Uni in Berwick. The day began with a presentation by Nathan Hulls, Motivational Speaker.  VCE students then went on to learn about further study options at Federation Uni while VCAL students heard from Apprenticeships Matter about what employers are looking for and how to secure a job or apprenticeship after year 12. Students then got to try some Yoga and Mediation following a presentation from our own Wellbeing Team and after lunch the day concluded with some very fun and somewhat challenging Circus Skills.
