EAL INCURSION – AUSSIE WILDLIFE DISPLAYS
During Term 2, the EAL Effective Reading Program (ERP) class have been learning about native Australian animals. On Friday 14 June 2019, these students took part in an incursion with Vince and the animals from Aussie Wildlife Displays. They were able to hold and interact with the various animals (reptiles, birds and marsupials), which for most, this was their first time seeing or touching these animals. The students really enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of this life experience.
We have been learning about Australian animals in ERP. Mrs Pettit and Mrs Phillips decided to let Vince bring some of the animals that we have been learning about. I was scared to touch the snake, but I saw my friends touching it, so I changed my mind and decided to hold it. - Thuch Dau Thuch 8B
