In the audience of The Project

In Language and Literature this term students have been exploring the nature of Reality TV; the film we ultimately studied in class was The Truman Show.

A parent kindly offered the class an invitation to be in the audience for Channel 10’s program, The Project. On Monday 27 March, once through the high-security checks, we were coached how to be the audience by a highly entertaining comedian. The dynamics of The Project  team and interaction with the huge number of technicians making the show was fascinating to watch.

The team acknowledged us as a school group, with Peter Helliar creating a highly plausible scenario that he was an ex-Preshilian! 

The students  thoroughly enjoyed this experience and readily entered into the spontaneous nature of the interactions.
