Hi Everyone,

We held our August meeting last week, thanks to everyone who came along. Here’s quick update on what’s happening.

Rock on Trivia Night

Thank you to everyone who helped create a fabulous fundraising event. From organising, collecting silent auction donations, setting up and buying tickets, we had a very successful an fun evening. We had lots of competitions throughout the night as well as a Live Silent Auction. We raised lots of money to help towards a shade sail to cover our lovely new playground! Big thank you especially to Jo Tyers as organiser. This is Jo’s last year as a parent at the school and we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work organising these Trivia Nights and hope that our next one will live up to the high standards she has worked so hard to achieve. We will be thanking our sponsors via the newsletter in the coming weeks.

Friday Treat - doughnuts

Just a reminder that we will be selling doughnuts on a Friday lunchtime for the remainder of Term 3. They are priced at $1.00 each, and not $1.50 as previously stated.

School Disco

The School Disco will be happening on Thursday 5th September. A note will be sent home in the coming days with further information on the event. The cost is $8 per child.

Father’s Day Celebration

We will be running a Father’s Day Gift stall on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th August. Gifts will be priced at $5 per item.

We will also be organising a pie order for Dad’s/ special person to come and enjoy with their child during lunch on Friday 30th August. An order form will be sent home early next week. Further details of the actual Father’s Day Footy event will be communicated shortly.

Subway Special Lunch

We have moved this special lunch to Thursday 19th September. Order forms will be sent out towards the end of August.
