Year 3/4–Celebrating Learning

3/4 Team

The 3/4 teachers have done an amazing job at supporting each other over this term. We meet every Tuesday afternoon on Google Meets to see how everyone is going and plan together for the next week. What a wonderful, dedicated bunch of educators!

After Louise shared that she is grateful for her morning walks along the Merri Creek, students from 3/4B shared on their Google Classroom feed the things they have been grateful for about their time in isolation.

A backstage view from where it all (ergonomically) happens!

Steiner

Hello everyone. Here I am working at my desk in front of my favourite sunny window. My two youngest children Toby and Esther are also doing their schooling online.

3S have survived their first week of working in our Google Classroom. We are all trying to stay healthy and positive and adapt to our new setting which is the main task at the moment. I am very proud of how the children have all tried to do their best and I have been very impressed with the support they are getting from their families. Many are still starring at home. One of the core pedagogical principles of Steiner education is to instil resilience in children so that they can thrive in the face of adversity. I AM CERTAINLY ATTESTING TO THE EFFICACY OF THIS METHOD IN OUR PRESENT TIME.
