Junior School J23 Jager is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

Year 2 Sleepover

It has been two years since we had our Year 2 Sleepover so you can imagine the Year 2 student’s excitement with its return.  Some students were nervous, some were happy and some were very excited.

First, we watched the amazing Lyn performing some fabulous circus tricks such as juggling, acrobatics, plate spinning, and hula hoop tricks.  Students then took part in a circus workshop where they learned to juggle, spin plates, and did tricks with the flower stick.

Then we headed to the Art room to paint some mugs with sleepover decorations.

After dinner, they all got in their PJs and settled down to watch either “Luca”, “Encanto” or “Raya and the Last Dragon”.  Movies had to finish early as some students were falling asleep.

Then the next morning we woke up, had breakfast, packed up and headed home to our families. There were many tired Year 2 students.

“It was the best time!” Peauvasa
“I loved how we did tricks at the Circus!” Olivia H
“I loved the movie” Alex
“I was so tired, I can’t believe I was able to stay up on Saturday!” Zak
“I was so happy that I was able to get some sleep!” Abby

We can’t wait until we have the Sleepover again, next year!
