MATHS

In maths we have been learning about money! The students were able to use the Little Shops and play money to create “shops” and practice identifying coins and notes, counting and using different combinations of money. We have learnt about the value of different coins and notes, and which coin and note has the least and the most value. 

LITERACY

We have been working on expressing our opinion and using persuasive skills. Students have completed writing and reading activities using a variety their own opinions to try and convince others to believe them! Some topics have been ‘what special day at school should we have’ (crazy hair day, PJ day etc), ‘what activities should we do at the Grade 2 sleepover’ and ‘something you enjoy doing’. 

We are settling into term four nicely and can’t wait to continue the great work!
