Hello from KP & K1

K Parrots and K1 Kookaburras have had a wonderful year so far! 

In English, we have been writing information reports! Each week we have been busy learning about new animals and then then we present our information in different ways. K Parrots created some wonderful booklets and K1 created posters to share their interesting information. 

In Creative Arts, we explored an Australian artist, Pete Cromer, and his beautiful artworks. We used templates to recreate our own version that represents his style.  

In Maths, we have been learning about all the different ways we can represent a number. We viewed the story 'One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab' and then discussed and explored all the different ways we can make the number 18. We have continued to use our hands-on materials to help consolidate our learning.  

We have had such a wonderful term so far and will continue working hard!
