Geography News

Vermont Secondary College

Well done to all the Year 10 Geography Students who participated in our Fieldworks this term! We had the "Geography in Action" class venture to Port Phillip Bay to explore the coastal management strategies at Seaford, Rickett's Point, Elwood and Sandringham. Thank  you to Mr Mizzi for driving the mini bus on the day!

We also had the two Big Picture classes participate in Fieldwork at Healesville Sanctuary to analyse the positives and negatives of zoos. It was a wet day, but the animals were very active, and the classes saw lots of cute baby animals!

Thank you to Ms Muirden, Ms Kiefel and Ms Bowker for your help.

Overall, congratulations to all the Geography Students this year who have been excellent on Fieldwork. It has been lovely to run Fieldwork's again in 2022 🙂
