This coming week is the last week of the ‘church’ year. Advent is just around the corner. As such, this week’s GFH resource reflects on the year we have had (check out the Creative Response for some ideas) as well as looking forward to when Jesus will return! Enjoy.

Final Scholastic Catalogues for 2022
The final Scholastic catalogues for 2022 have been sent home with students this week.
Scholastic apps are available to download for both Apple and Android devices to make ordering through the Loop system easier.
There is the option to mark your purchases as GIFTS. When these books arrive you will be contacted directly, rather than books going home with students.
Please also note that some titles offered, differ from the Christian ethos followed by the school.
Orders need to be placed via LOOP by Thursday 24th November 2022.
A very big THANK YOU to families that have supported Book Club throughout 2022. Your support has enabled us to purchase new books for our school library.

Dad's Night
To the dads and male role models of children of GSPV we are having a end of year get together. Feel free to bring a friend and get to know other Dad's from our school. It's been a while since we have had one of these so why not come along for 5min or longer and enjoy a fun evening!
WHEN: Friday 25th November.
TIME: from 6pm till whenever.
LOCATION: Highlander hotel- 647 Northeast Road Gillies Plains - outside in the beer garden area.

- Tuesday: 1.00pm - 3.35pm
- Thursday: 1.00pm - 3.35pm

Lost Property
Is your child missing a piece of clothing, lunch box, drink bottle, item that did not come back from last term's camp?
Please check the Lost Property station in front office - we have a mountain of items!
Reporting Absenteeism
If your child is unwell and will not be attending school, please notify the front office via email or telephone. Teachers will be notified by office staff, or you may included them in the 'CC' box. Messages via seesaw are not recommended. Thank you.

Jingle, Jingle, Jingle – Here come the Christmas Elves
It is the time of year again when GSPV have an opportunity to bless the wider Adelaide community with Christmas hamper items. Lutheran Care are once again collecting for their Christmas Hampers and you are invited to support this worthwhile cause.
From Monday next week, our Christmas Elves will be making their way from class to class each day, collecting donations for the Christmas Hampers. Suggested items are listed on the flyer below.
Items will be collected daily over Week 5 and 6 with the final collection day being Monday November 28th.
We encourage you to donate where you can and bless another families Christmas this year.
