Friday Coffee and Connection Opportunity

What is your favourite moment with your family so far this week?  What is something you have been doing to look after yourself lately? We would love for you to join us for a cuppa and conversation this Friday, after morning drop off in the Church Café area. Please enter via the courtyard. Toddlers are welcome. (There is a small playground for them to play in. We just ask that you keep an eye on them for safety reasons.) See you tomorrow!

Thanking Volunteers

On Friday the 25 November we will hold our annual event to celebrate the generous work and support of volunteers within our community.

This year we will be holding a breakfast of fruit and pastries in the church café from 8.15am to 9.00am.  To ensure that we have enough to share please register your attendance here, stating any dietary requirements.

No matter how you volunteer you are welcome.

Friendly Faces 2023

Are you interested in being a ‘friendly face’ for new Foundation families next year?

As we continue to seek ways to welcome and support new families in our school, we would like to offer a new opportunity to get to know one another and build relationships! The idea is that an existing school family is ‘buddied’ with a new school family (or perhaps more than one family) to help them with join and become valued members of our school community. 

It might look like:

• A welcome phone call to the family prior to school starting.
• Being a ‘friendly face’ around the school.
• Acting as a resource for sharing information about school routines. E.g. How to order food from the canteen or uniform questions.
• Perhaps even organizing a playdate.
• Sitting with them at the school’s Welcome Party.

These are just suggestions… You might have your own ideas!

Further information regarding logistics will be shared with you once you have registered your interest.  Please note: We have had very few responses to date. We are in need of more ‘buddies’ for this idea to get off the ground. Please consider this opportunity to welcome our new families. It’s a great way to make new friends!
