Uniforms - Change of Day

Uniform orders are filled on Tuesdays.

Completed order forms need to be at the school office by Friday for orders to be filled and delivered to your child by Tuesday.

Monday 5th December is the last day for 2022 to order school uniforms. Please have your orders in by this date for delivery to your child on Tuesday 6th December.

The Uniform Shop will re-open on Tuesday 31st January 2023.

Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

LEARNING BY DOING WOODWORK

INCURSION - GRADE 2

On Tuesday all of Grade 2’s got to participate in a Learning by doing woodwork incursion. We got to use hammers and saws to make wooden cars. It was a really fun incursion and we can’t wait to decorate our cars this week.

The Japanese Word of the Fortnight

ばっちり(pronounced ‘batchiri’) which means ‘perfect’ is the Japanese Word for Weeks 7 and 8 of Term 4. You can simply use ‘ばっちり’ (‘batchiri’) instead of ‘perfect’ when you are feeling perfect or when you see something perfect.

It is a casual word. You can add ‘です’ (pronounced ‘des’) at the end to make it more polite and say ’ばっちりです’ (pronounced ‘batchiri des’).

Dear Valkstone Community,

We donated over 340 kgs of tinned tomatoes, pasta, rice and other essential food ingredients, as well as over $200 in cash donation, a truly impressive effort. Thank you!
