News from the Garden

Trish Paxton

Keen gardeners meet every Thursday to work in the Burrendah Garden.

We plant vegetables and flowers, maintain the worm farms, and do a lot of weeding!

Our hard work has been rewarded this week with some tasty cherry tomatoes.

We are extremely grateful for our new compost bin which will allow us to use the “leftovers” from the chicken coop in our compost system. Thanks, Mrs Crouch for your expertise in putting it together.

Thanks also to Mr Hughes, our wonderful school gardener, for using his “MacGuyver” skills to repair our shade-house.
