Foods
Students in Years 7 – 10 have been busy in the kitchen making a variety of amazing meals for their families.
The Year 7’s have made dishes to develop their knowledge and understanding of healthy eating, and develop their skills in preparing a variety of ingredients using different processes. Dishes they have made include Chow Mein, Crunchy Vegetarian Rolls, Macaroni Cheese and their own free choice.
Students doing Sweet Desires have made puddings, cakes, pavlovas, fruit crumbles, crème brulee, biscuits and slices. It has been pleasing to see the effort students are making with styling their food before taking a photo.
Keep up the fabulous effort Year 7’s and Sweet Desires students, and please send me photos of your delectable food!
Agriculture
Primary students have had a matrix, where they are able to choose an activity outside for Agriculture. Students have been busy lamb marking, creating floral art, looking after animals and taking photos of nature.
Textiles
The Grade 5 – 6 students have been using their creative and hand sewing skills to create cushions, sock puppets and even doing some mending!
If parents/guardians have any photos they would like to share please send them to me on XUNO.
