ADF Cyber Gap Program 

If you’re interested in studying a cyber-related qualification, the government’s Cyber Gap Program can offer you a heap of bonuses. The 12-month program includes work experience, mentoring and networking opportunities, and the chance to get a job with the Department of Defence. A Call to Action Competition

The Museum of Australian Democracy is accepting submissions of original music videos by students K-12 for their song A Call to Action.

The video is required to demonstrate democracy in action in your school or community. You may wish to create the video as a class project, or with a few friends. Tell us what democracy means to you in a creative way.

International Songwriting Competition

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena.

Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians of any age from around the world are invited to participate. 71 winners will share in cash, prizes, recognition and exposure.

Australian Photography Photographer of the Year Competition

Australian Photography is searching for Australia and New Zealand’s most amazing amateur photographers. With the best entries showcased and celebrated in a special issue of Australian Photography magazine in 2021 and $30,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, there are plenty of great reasons to get involved.

Photographer of the Year includes six portfolio categories, three single-image categories and our new Creative category.

Start University while doing your VCE!

Students can enrol in University Units with Federation University, Deakin University and LaTrobe University while still at school. The Federation University program is available to Year 11 and 12 VCE students while the Deakin and Latrobe program is only available to Year 12 VCE students.  For more information visit the Careers office or check out the links below.  Students must meet strict criteria before approval is granted.
