Year 3 Instrumental Program

This program will begin in Week 2. Students involved in the Band Program will be given instrumental hire forms this week, please return these ASAP to Mrs Sinclair or the office so that students are able to take instruments home for practice. Please ensure instruments are taken care of at all times, we ask that they are only played by the students themselves, not by siblings or friends. If something happens to the instruments, please do not attempt to fix them but bring it to Mrs Sinclair ASAP.

Sydney Dance Workshop

​Friday 3 August (1-2pm and 2-3pm)

All girls involved in the 5-6 Show dancing (“Woman” Dancers and “Dance Girls”) and all members of Junior Dance Group in Year 3 and above will take part in a workshop facilitated by Sydney Dance Company next Friday (Aug 3). The workshops will be one hour long and are designed to complement the teaching and learning they receive at school. Students will learn the elements of dance as they are guided through contemporary dance and ballet phrases as well as compositional task to assist them in generating, developing and structuring their own unique movement.

This is a wonderful opportunity provided to us free of charge by Sydney Dance Company and we are very excited to have some of our students involved. Please note that these workshops are for students in Year 3 and above only. There will be further information distributed to students next week.
