A Message from the

Head of Prep School

The students and staff have all returned with great energy and enthusiasm for Term 3.

As mentioned last term, we welcome Mrs Nicola Harbison, Mrs Lisa Savage and Mrs Suzie Maslin to new roles within the Prep School.

We also welcome back Ms Ann-Margaret Gunther after her fall last term.  Her broken ankle is recovering and she has returned with the moon boot firmly attached!

Mrs Emma Charlton will be absent for the next 3-4 weeks due to medical reasons and we are fortunate to have Mrs Nicole Caro available to take 6C in Mrs Charlton’s absence.

The term’s activities have begun in earnest with our athletics team heading to Dubbo today for the WAS Carnival.  We wish them every success.  Our K-6 students will all attend the Senior School production of ‘High School Musical’ this week.

On Friday and Saturday this week we host Scot’s College from Sydney who will be playing our 12 years Rugby and Football teams and are being billeted by our families.  I thank you for your generosity in billeting the boys.

You may have noticed new signs around our school highlighting our school values.  At present we are focusing on respect.  We respect everyone, whether they have different ideas or opinions and we expect that respect to be reciprocated.  Living our values is important and we look forward to the students learning and implementing these values in their daily lives.

Enjoy your week.

Mr Rob McLean

Head of the Preparatory School
