Cadets 2018

CADETS - Ambulance Visit

This year Cadets has gone to a whole new level! In Term one cadets took part in a surf awareness and rescue training at Sorrento beach. The cadets loved the beach activities and learning how to work in teams to achieve the water based challenges. Also in term 1 our Cadets ran an ANZAC day parade at school and did an outstanding job in honouring the men and women who have fought and died for Australia and New Zealand.

This term the Cadets have been practicing their Raft making skills and will look to see how their rafts go in water. Later in the term Cadets will take part in rock rescue, where they will practice climbing various rock walls and rescue objects.

We are excited to announce that our senior cadets now have formal uniforms and in time all cadets will have these too.

Lastly we have seen cadets promoted this term with Boston Fitch being promoted to Cadet Captain and Jasmine Huynh the new Deputy Captain. We congratulate them as well as our Senior cadets including Bush Dut, Nic Borbil and Nazareth Kuhl for demonstrating continued leadership and service to Cadets.
