National Simultaneous Story time (NSS) was a great success!
We were part of the one million plus, reading Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas by Lucinda Gifford. In its 20th year, together we read simultaneously with schools, libraries, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops, even universities and many other places around the country.
It was a colourful and fun event celebrating in our pyjamas. Our aim was to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children's book.
Thank you to YOU all participating and reading together with others across over 11,550 locations, including New Zealand, UK, Canada and Singapore.
