Tremendous effort from all girls who represented Copperfield College Kings Park at the Year 8 Keilor Division Volleyball competition. Highlight was a come from behind 2 sets to 1 win vs Gilson College and a very narrow loss to Victoria Uni - which could have gone either way. Great sportsmanship and skill shown on the day. Only bigger and better things to come from this team in 2024!
Social Futsal
Throughout Term 3 and Term 4 at our King Park Campus, many of our students have been partaking in the extracurricular activity of 'Social Futsal' after school on Thursdays in our College Gymnasium.
Social Futsal is an initiative offered to all students at the campus and is designed to not only improve overall physical fitness, but to allow students to feel part of a social group promoting positive relationships.
The great thing is you don't have to be highly skilled at Futsal to give it a go. Anyone who has a passion for sport/physical activity or is simply willing to try something new is encouraged to come along. These sessions have been a success to date with great participation from our junior campus students.
Winning team on Thursday taking out the coveted KP Cup 🏆
Cheers
