There's Something Growing in Kinder Blue!

This term in Science, Kinder Blue have been learning about living things and life cycles. 

We thought it would be fun to experiment with growing some beans in our classroom window! 

First, we fluffed up some cotton and put it in the bottom of a zip lock bag, then we sandwiched a bean seed between some of the cotton before placing it safely in the middle of the bag. We added some water and stuck them to our classroom window. 

A few of us didn't think that the beans would actually grow without soil, but guess what! They are growing! We can't wait to bring them home and plant them in our gardens to continue growing our very own beans.
