Principal's Message
Our new building is on the way!
The planning and preparations for our new classrooms are well underway. Our Parents and Citizens Association President Louisa Rigby has joined me in the conversations with the Department of Education.
The project is underway to upgrade and replace four existing demountables at Brooke Ave Public School.
The project will deliver:
■ A new permanent building which will provide four innovative and flexible learning spaces, two withdrawal rooms and a practical activity area. All rooms will be air-conditioned.
■ New sports court area.
The new building will be constructed on the existing sports court area.
The project has received approval to proceed. Concept designs of the new building have been finished. An architect and project consultants have been appointed to investigate and review the site and further develop the designs. The main works construction contract has been awarded to North Construction & Building Pty Ltd.
The project team will further develop the building design and obtain relevant planning approvals. Construction is expected to start shortly after planning approvals are received, in early 2021.

World Teachers’ Day
On Friday the 30 October, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful teachers for their outstanding dedication and professionalism. I would also like to acknowledge the significant role they play in the lives of our children and students, our families, and our community. We are very lucky to have such exceptional teachers at Brooke Avenue Public School!
Events
Term 4 has started well and we have some exciting events happening for our students. Unfortunately, we are unable to invite parents onsite to celebrate with us. Our main aim is to hold as many events as we usually hold so that the children still enjoy as many fun activities as possible.
Please continue to remind our children our precious they are...they are our future...
