Stem News...

This week we are showing our students how STEM applies to our daily lives. During class and our STEM lunchtime activities, students are developing their curiosity, testing hypotheses and asking questions.  STEM learning begins at a very young age and we are building on this and further developing our student’s skills in these areas.

Members of our Year 5 and 6 STEM team are currently working with Junior students. They are modelling problem-solving and critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems. Junior students have been given STEM kits and asked to create items such as ballon cars, an egg drop and a zip line racer! Needless to say, we are having loads of fun in STEM at St. Joe’s!
