Year 7 Year 7 Social Skills Incursion

We are very excited to announce that on Thursday 18 March we are holding a special incursion at school for all Year 7 students.
This day is based on the topics of Emotional Literacy and Problem Solving, with a reflection activity afterwards. There will be some classroom games and plenty of chances to explore these topics further.
We also have the opportunity for the Proactive Policing Unit to attend on the day and speak with each class group about their role in the community.
The topics are two which are taken from the Resilience, Rights & Respectful Relationships Program.
There is a short summary of the two topics below:

| Recognising different emotions - positive, negative and mixed. The vocabulary of emotions, body language, empathy, and hidden emotions.
