EAST IN ACTION

Well it’s been an extremely busy and fun filled week 4 and 5 at E.E.P.S!

Last Friday was our L3 and 4 House Swimming Carnival where our students represented their Houses to see who would be crowned this year’s champions. It was a super day and I was so proud to see our students smiling and pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. Once again Hovell took the spoils winning both the Relays and the overall day.

Congratulations to all our Eastie team who helped the day be such a huge success!

DATA WEEK

Once again our Data week rotations were a great success. A big thank you to the staff who planned fun and engaging tasks for our students to do in their rotations. It was brilliant to see our Easties displaying our values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience throughout the week. Our winning classes who hold the bragging rights until planning week are as follows:

L2- Gebs and Taylor

L3- Williams

L4- Cherry

Congratulations to the above mentioned classes.

INTER SCHOOL SWIMMING

On Thursday the 25th a squad of around 30 students set off to represent East in the annual Campaspe School Swimming Competition.

I would like to offer these students a massive congratulations for firstly qualifying for the event, but secondly being willing to push themselves outside their comfort zone and compete on the day. For many of our students 50m is an incredibly long way and I’m super impressed with their attitudes to just roll up their sleeves and have a go………well done Easties!

Special thanks to Kathy Wilson who always plays a massive part in helping get these days organised and Miss Gusman who agreed to take photos and prepare the magazine page, what a legend!
