Top Screen Excursion 

Students from the Years 11 & 12 Media  went to Top Screen on Wednesday, 29 March, at ACMI in Federation Square, Melbourne. 

Braving the pouring Melbourne rain and the chaos of the city’s construction, everyone was on time and first into the cinema! Along with many other students from around the state, we watched fifteen of last year's top VCE short films, from live action to documentary to stop animation. 

After the screening, three of these creators were on hand for a panel interview where they shared their thoughts on the process, challenges, and tips for this year's students. We then went onto the café scene of Degraves Street, where we had a lively discussion of our favourite film picks. 

A great day all around!
