Grade 1

Most Grade 1 children will now have their current learning goals in the back of their diaries.  If your child does not, it will be because they haven't had their diaries at school when they were needed.  This will be caught up when the children bring their diaries to school.  It would be helpful if all children brought their diaries in their readers pockets each day.

Explore the Learning in Grade 1

As part of this term's Inquiry focus - Happy, Healthy Me - we had visit from Blue Earth.  The children took part in a number of games and physical activities and learnt how challenging our bodies is exercise for our minds.  The children also learnt some strategies to help slow their heart rate and to help them relax.
