Health and Physical Education 

Invasion games are always a class favourite! This week, students participated in a range of Invasion games, using their strengths, strategies and teamwork to achieve a shared goal! It was great to see the involvement from students and the communication between teams.  

Indonesian 

During Indonesian this week, we learnt about the Dayak Tribe. Students found the ear lengthening process very interesting! We then made posters to share something we found particularly engaging. 

Visual Arts 

The Foundation, Grade 1’s, 2’s  and 3’s have been exploring different ways of painting. They have used water colours, and acrylics combining them with permanent ink, charcoal and oil pastels. Students have been creating pictures of castles, circles, ice creams, Picasso inspired portraits as well as self portraits. 

STEM 

Grade 5 and 6 students have been learning about plants and photosynthesis over the last few weeks. They have also been exploring how to use a microscope correctly and having fun looking at a variety of different leaves and other materials!
