In the Classroom

Spotlight on learning this fortnight

My Hero

On Friday our PFC organised a fun dress as your hero day to raise funds for our take home decodable readers.  We had a school full of heros in the form of sporting stars, teachers, community helpers and the list went on!  It was a positive and fun filled day and we thank our families for your creativity and effort.

Spotlight on Charlie K 6/9

We wanted to share a lovely story with you all.  Our student Charlie told us about her Grandma who makes jam each year.  This is a long standing tradition and over the years Charlie has come to help.  This year Charlie actually took on the challenge of making the jam all by herself, sticking to Grandma's recipe and instructions.  The result was just as good and with that Charlie entered it in the Red Hill Show.  She was right, it was good....and the jam took 1st place!  Congratulations Charlie and Grandma!

Family traditions are so special, we would love to hear more stories like these - reach out to your teacher!
