School Advisory Council

School Advisory Council are looking for new parents to join the committee.

Being a member of your School Advisory Council is a great way to get involved in your school. It is a collection of Parents who advise and support the Principal in planning for the present and future operation of our school. We meet 4 to 6 times throughout the year where the operations of the school will be discussed.

Being on the council for the last 3 years I encourage all parents to please think about coming along and joining the committee.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the council and have found it a wonderful way to not only know what is going on in the school, but to share ideas and brainstorm with other parents who share a passion for our school. Our role on the council is to help support the principal in discussions and help guide them to achieve the goals and visions for the school.

You will also be a representative for the school where other parents can come to you to share their thoughts, and you can share these at meetings and discuss, to either find a solution or acknowledge achievements.

So please come along to our up coming AGM to see if you would like to join.
