Dear families and Friends,
Welcome to the sunshine. I am grateful to feel the warmth once again.
We now have shade sails and new seats for the yard. This brings great relief when the hot months hit (let’s hope they do). Our shade sails and seats were enabled by the Victorian state government grant. We are extremely grateful for this support.
Our Pre prep program has been fantastic. Mel has had a large group each Wednesday at 9.15am. All of our 2023 Preps are invited to take part in the head start program. We are constantly working on engagement in and out of the classroom. This week you will see yard games out and about. Educators will be teaching groups of children all the wonderful games to enjoy. This supports our wellbeing approach of connection and relationships.
This term there will be a School Closure Day on Melbourne Cup Eve - Monday, 31st October. Staff will be working on Assessment and Reporting on this day.
I hope everyone has a lovely long weekend over Melbourne Cup - let’s hope we are all enjoying sunshine and a bit of relaxation before the Christmas events begin.
