Now that the Senior Library is open, students may borrow books for the PRC (Premiers’ Reading Challenge) from our shelves. The titles on the challenge list have a green stripe on the spine. Students are invited to view the list on Canvas. The full list is available at:

Click on

Students please note: The books in the Senior Library are now shelved by genre, so check on your “Canvas” list to see where the titles can be found.
Please see the library staff or your English teachers if you have any questions.
At the start of Term Two, our new Senior Library opened for borrowing. We have arranged our shelves according to genre. Students can select from Science Fiction, Fantasy, School, Family, Humour, Animals, Adventure, Mystery, Crime, Historical and War.
The Library has been busy at lunchtimes with students coming to study, do Accelerated Reader tests, read and play quiet games.
We look forward to seeing more people visiting as the term progresses.
Accelerated Readers have now begun for Years 4-6. In this program, students borrow from a selected range of titles, read the book and then complete a quiz on a computer or iPad. This program is run in conjunction with the homeroom teachers. The Year 4 Accelerated Readers are kept separate from the rest of the library collection to enable students to get used to the program. In Year 5 and Year 6, the titles are to be found within the rest of the books. Students are encouraged to read both at school and at home.
Parents are most welcome to speak with library staff about this program.
