Armidale Diocesan Primary Gala Day

Rugby League Wrap

Our opens rugby league team had an extremely successful day on Friday, winning the Armidale Diocesan Gala Day.  They won all three of their pool games against Narrabri, Gunnedah and Inverell and they progressed to the final beating Inverell 18-12. Our junior boys played with Guyra and lost two games and won one, they also competed extremely well and were close to making the final. Well done to all the boys that played on the day, you should all be very proud.

Netball Wrap

The year 6 team won the day, winning every game. Their sportsmanship was second to none, always encouraging each other and the opposition. Special thanks to Mrs Bec Haddad for managing the team for the day. The year 5/6 team battled hard all day, winning three games, drawing one and losing one game. They were 2 points away from making the final in a for and against countback. The straight year 5 team were fantastic sports, however, did not make the finals. The two year 3/4 teams had a great day of competition and the year 4 girls were great mentors for the junior players.

Soccer Wrap

The soccer teams played extremely well against some tough competition. The senior boy's team won all their games but went down 4-0 in the final to Inverell. The junior blue team were also very competitive in all of their pool games, making the final. Unfortunately, they also went down to a very skilled Inverell team 4-0.

All 80 of our students had a great time competing and showcasing their skills against schools from all around the diocese.  Everyone displayed great sportsmanship and were great ambassadors of our school. Well done to all involved.
