Variety Show

This year, Staughton College’s Performing Arts Department is creating our biennial Variety Show which will be presented over two evenings in Term 3 Week 6 (August 18th and 19th).

Over 80 students from year 7-12, including our lunchtime dance club, Year 9 Drama and Music, Year 10 Theatre Studies and Year 11 Theatre Studies classes, are busy creating the amazing sections of well known Musicals, showcasing their extraordinary talent in singing, dancing, acting and creative design.

With only 4 weeks to go before opening night, extra out-of-school hours rehearsals are required, starting in the 1st week of the holidays and continuing on in the new term.

Attached is a rehearsal schedule for all students involved and specific details of each rehearsal will be publicised on the Performing Arts notice boards and bulletins for students every week.

The Performing Arts team is looking forward to the development over the next few weeks as we fine-tune each section of the show.
