Book Week 2022

Dreaming with eyes open

How exciting!  We are one week away from celebrating book week at Hampstead Primary. All classes have been reading nominated books and classes will buddy up and swap teachers to do a special art activity which will be displayed in the library.

We will be having a bookmark competition with 3 prizes given across the school. Book marks will be displayed in the library and all students will be able to take home a Hampstead Primary Bookmark, designed by students.

Some classes will be visiting the local library for a book week book reading.

There will be special zoom sessions with Mandy Foot (an indigenous artist and author) for the younger students whilst the older students will be creating their own manga stories in a zoom workshop with Queenie Chan.

Read and Relax outdoors on Wednesday.

We will be spreading out the rugs and having a relaxing read outdoors on Wedesday at lunch time.
