2023 Building and Development Projects

Through last year, we worked with JPE Architects to create a St Paul Community Master Plan, and I am grateful for the input and feedback from many staff, families, children and church members. This year, we have been continuing this partnership with JPE to design a new carpark and a renovation of the current staff carpark to become an OSHC space for SPLASH and additional meeting and teaching space during the day.

We have also been planning an upgrade to the Junior Primary Playground, which will likely occur as much as possible over the summer holiday break to be ready for the beginning of 2023, or as soon as possible in Term 1.

Images of the design are included in this Inspire article. You may also see these designs in person when you visit the school office or the Hall during an assembly or Chapel visit (remember to sign up via TryBooking if you are joining us for these events).

Staffing News

Congratulations to Ms Megan Fyffe on her appointment to a classroom teacher role at Concordia Junior School from 2023. As classroom teacher, and in addition in her role as Professional Learning Community Leader, Megan’s advocacy for the value of each child and the importance of play and inquiry has influenced the work of many teachers and of St Paul. I wish her every blessing in her role to come, although we are very glad to still have Megan at St Paul until the end of this year!

The Church also recently announced the resignation of Child Youth and Household Ministry Coordinator, Mrs Nicole Hall (also a former school parent!) In this role, Nicole has generously served the school community, with Library activities supporting our Chapel themes, and many, many classroom visits to support our Christian Studies curriculum. Nicole has taken a role with the Lutheran Church of Australia, and we wish her every blessing for her new role.
