We have had a busy end to the term on Farm with many adjustments to rosters. Decisions made on student placements were based on equity and learning needs.  It is fair to say that Farm staff have adjusted quickly to accommodate greater numbers over the course of this week. Mr Howell and I want to thank the Farm staff for their flexibility over the week given the unfortunate cancellation of Country Week and the adjusted learning program.

Next Term

We have a very busy start to our program with numerous incursions and guest speakers. Mr Bevan Uren will be working with Certificate III in Agriculture students to complete two Chemical Units.

St Johns Harvey will deliver four “Provide First Aid” courses to Year 10 and new Year 11 students.

Rural Biz are speaking with all Farm Focus students on 30th July regarding their Diploma course at Muresk for 2022.

CBH will be speaking with students on 6th August regarding their Harvest Program and possible work over the season.

Have a Great Holiday

Mr Howell and I would like to wish all of our students, families and staff a safe and enjoyable break over the next two weeks. Please spare a thought for many of our staff who will not be taking holidays and will remain onsite to care for livestock and other enterprise requirements over the next two weeks.

In closing we would all like to wish Bob McGee’s daughter Kerryn McGee, all the best with her “Australian Survivor” Competition, soon to be aired on TV.

Kerryn was selected from 27,000 applicants to be part of the show. Having a strong body building background will help and we hope Bob has taught her a thing or two about survival………....IS SHE THE ULTIMATE SURVIVOR – KERRYN McGEE ?????
