CIS Primary and Secondary Cross Country Championships

On Thursday 10 June, Elsie P, Emily Mc, Joel H and Hamish Mc competed at the CIS Primary and Secondary Cross Country Championships at the Sydney Motorsport Park.

Emily was asked to share about her experience at CIS.

'This was my fourth time at CIS and I love making new friends each time I go. I had been training 3 times a week in the lead up and like beating my personal bests. CIS was cold and raining which made it hard to run but it was still a lot of fun.'

A huge congratulations to Joel and Emily who placed in the top 3 at this event. Joel H - 2nd place - 13 Year Boys and Emily McL - 3rd place - 13 Year Girls. Joel and Emily have qualified to compete at the All Schools which were scheduled to be held these holidays. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid outbreak in Sydney this event has been postponed.
