Lara Field (Business Manager)

Thanks to everyone who has made me feel so welcome already at OGPS.  I have previously worked in a Secondary School and a Primary School before that for many years.  I live on the Peninsular and just love living here and now being able to work her as well.  I have a big garden at home and grow veges and have chooks and two cats.  I have three grown up daughters and my husband and I just had our 10th grandbaby born a couple of months ago.  I love gardening, cycling and nothing better than going off the beaten track camping, especially the Outback.

Make sure you come and say hi.

Seb Earle (Year 6 Teacher)

Hello everyone, my name is Sebastian Earle and I have just recently joined the teaching team at Ocean Grove Primary School. I am currently teaching Grade 6BC whilst Ms Lauren Baker in on Long Service Leave. I grew up in the wonderful township of Stawell before moving to Melbourne where I have spent the last 15 years teaching in a variety of settings. My wife and I decided to move our two boys to Ocean Grove after spending our holidays here last year. We instantly fell in love with the small-town community and the beautiful surrounding scenery that Ocean Grove offers. It seemed like the perfect place to bring up our two sons Alfie and Jimmy. It has also allowed me to pursue my passion for fishing and outdoors. Once a country kid, always a country kid! Since arriving at Ocean Grove Primary I have observed how collaborate and supportive the staff and students are towards each other. It is a truly welcoming and positive environment and feel fortunate to have my son start prep here this year.

Jo Earle (Year 4 Teacher)

Hi OGPS community, I am Mrs Earle and have joined the fabulous Year 4 team. This year has been a huge year for myself and my family, as we have recently moved from Melbourne to Ocean Grove. We are loving our new life by the ocean and meeting so many new people

I am originally from sunny Ballarat but moved to Melbourne to go to university. I have taught at many schools in Melbourne, Bangkok and London. I even worked at another school with Miss Matherson!

I have three busy boys, Alfie (6), Jimmy (3) and Mr Earle, who keep me on my toes. When I am not teaching or looking after them, I love to swim, surf (badly), have afternoon naps and catch up with friends. I look forward to working with the students in 4AM this year, and to meeting many more students and families at Ocean Grove Primary School!
