 HOUSE ATHLETIC SPORTS

Grades 4 to 6 Athletes On Show

Congratulations to all the grade 4 to grade 6 students who competed in the annual inter-house Athletics Carnival at Duncan MacKinnon Athletics Track, on Tuesday 13th July.  Everyone had a great time, even in the winter weather!  It was a fantastic effort by all students, everyone participated and the resilience, responsibility, and respect on show was exemplary. 

The eight events on the day were 100m, 200m and 800m running, long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus and shot put.  Top honours went to Gold House for the first time since 2009, followed closely by Red House, Blue House and Green House. 

A big thank you to all the teachers, education support staff and student-teachers for making the day possible and huge thanks to all the students for their enthusiasm!
