We are all in this together. The State Government made some changes to the COVID Restrictions that impacts our school community. People aged 12 and over must wear a fitted face mask when in public indoor spaces unless there is a lawful reason not to. I’m pleased at how quickly and willing staff and students adapted to these changes.
Last Friday our year 7 student participated in a range of activities designed to build relationships, connections and support for each other. While we didn’t make it to the pool, the activities and challenges after lunch were a great alternative. Today, year 8 students are enjoying a similar program though with better weather will attend the pool. Thank you Kate Archibald and Brad Vallance for the additional work organising these activities.
The House Swimming Carnival are coming up this Wednesday the 10th of February. All students are encouraged to attend, dressed in house colours, and compete in a range of races to support their house. Thank you to Ben Tallent for organising the event. I wish all 4 Houses the best, though as former House Captain will be cheering extra hard Allungah.
School photos were taken earlier this week. Next Monday, the 8th of February, there will be a photo catch up day, for anyone absent on Wednesday. Thank you to Wendy Hateley for the additional work in organising this.
