Instrumental Music Program

Over 280 parents have responded to the Music Survey. The information provided will be used by the School Leadership Team to develop a school-managed Instrumental music program. The school will utilise the expertise of a range of teachers. We will no longer be using Metro Music. The program is expected to grow substantially to cater for hundreds of students. There will be four locations within the school to allow for an expanded program. Rooms 10, 34 (The Castle), 38 and the Drum Room will be used during school time for simultaneous instrumental music lessons. It is expected that there will be a rolling timetable for individual students to ensure that they don’t miss out on Specialist subjects every week.
