Through discussions, stories, media clips, music and the creation of traditional crafts, we recently learnt about the celebration of Chinese New Year in the ELC. 

'Culture is the fundamental building block of identity and the development of a strong cultural identity is essential to children’s healthy sense of who they are and where they belong.' - The Educator’s Guide to the EYLF (P21) (DEEWR, 2010).

Parents and children were invited to share their knowledge and skills to help us all learn about this celebration. Thank you to all who supported us with these learning experiences.
