Year 11 Presentation Ball Cohort

Presentation Ball

The 2019 Presentation Ball was held on Saturday the 30th of March, bringing it ‘home’ to the gymnasium, which was transformed into a magical starry night.

For 12 weeks, 55 year 11 students honed their dancing skills and worked with each other to produce a seamless event with a lot of them coming to the realisation that the value of spending time with people outside of friendship groups and working together were some of the more valuable aspects of the event.

To thank all parent parties involved on an individual basis would take up a full page of accolades, suffice to say that the parents also learned the value of working together and the sense of achievement that bringing a concept such as transforming the gym into an event ballroom was one of great worth to everyone involved.  The ball would never happen without parental support and we thank those who assisted in any positive way.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all service providers that worked with us and contributed to the sense of community we experienced, the staff who came along and helped without having to be asked to do so, those who put their hands up for supervision duties and participated, you are very valued, but the biggest thanks goes to those magnificent students who rose to the occasion and showed us the young adults you really are.  We were so very proud to have worked with you and experienced the great success of the night by your side, we cannot express the ‘buzz’ it gave us to watch you all have such a fun night.

What an amazing community we have, what amazing kids you all are.

Can you please help??

Our canteen is in desperate need of volunteers.  With limited names on the roster in 2019 (thank you  thank you thank you for your contribution to our school to those who have volunteered) we are calling for volunteers.

We do not care how long you can give.  One hour will be better than nothing.

Our canteen has already lost one trading day and the students miss that dearly.  Without volunteers we could lose another.

If you are able to assist please complete the form below and return it to school.  We appreciate anything we receive from our volunteers.
