Level 1/2

We welcome all Level 1 and 2 students back into a very busy term. We hope everyone had a fantastic break and all are ready to participate in the many activities planned for this final term of 2019!

Over the next 8 weeks we will be exploring and learning about a variety of mini-beasts. We have already had our mini-beast incursion and everyone enjoyed meeting, patting and seeing a range of creepy crawlies. At the end of the unit we will be visiting the Melbourne Museum and IMAX to wrap up our mini-beast topic. Encourage students to keep an eye out when around the garden or park to look for different creatures.

We are looking forward to Oktoberfest this Friday. Please encourage students to dress up in either traditional German outfits or the German colours (Red, Yellow and Black).

Also, please encourage students to sign up online for the Colour Run as part of the 25 years of Rangeview week. It is sure to be a fun afternoon and would be great to see as many students as possible participate.

There are many assessments happening as we draw closer to the end of the year. Please let your child’s teacher know of any planned holidays or absences.

We are encouraging and supporting students to grow their independence in morning and afternoon routines. Please drop your child off and pick them up at their classroom line up. We are also encouraging healthy eating and remind you to pack a piece of fruit and vegetable each day for you child.
