Coding Club

In coding club we had to create a plan or a mind map before we programmed  the robots  with instructions .

This way, we were collaboratively  involved in decision making such as:

- what will we program it to do ?

- what moves do we need to program?

- what music will it play?

- what light show will it perform?

- how do we get it to turn around?

- is that called degrees?

Once again it was delightful to witness the students helping each other.

Coding club is every Monday at lunchtime. Everyone is welcome!

Parent Information Evening: HEALTH

In Year 5 and 6 , as part of our Faith Based Inquiry unit on 'Belonging', we hosted a Parent Information night to inform families about what we will be covering from the Health curriculum, including areas such as puberty and respectful relationships. We have recruited the expertise of Cathrine McCallig to  deliver some of the content, including the Parent Information night and classroom sessions with the students, which covers the Victorian Curriculum for  Year 5 and 6 students in Health and the Personal and Social Capability.

Students commenced their first class session and are looking forward to the coming weeks where they have the opportunity to learn about Reproduction, Puberty and ways we can be safe.
