School Council

School Council is continuing to advocate for funding to complete the construction of the school so that we can accommodate 1100 students from Years 7 to 12. At the end of last term we shared an update from our local politicians and excerpts from State Parliament. The local MP for Sandringham, Brad Rowswell, has received a reply to the question he posed in Parliament last month. The reply below is from the Minister for Education, James Merlino.

We will continue to keep you posted and up to date with all the developments with regards to the funding of Stage 2 of our school. Despite the delay of the State Budget due to the current health crisis, we will continue to lobby the Government and local politicians for the funds we need to complete the construction of our learning facilities.

On behalf of School Council, I would like to thank the Debby and the team for working so hard to make the transition to online learning so smooth for so many of you. Please be kind and considerate to all staff at the school as we navigate this unique period together.  I hope everyone is staying safe and well during these difficult times.
