Secondary Year 12

Event Management

The Year 12s continue to integrate Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development skills via the topic Event Management and Fundraising.  This topic aims to provide students with an awareness of various charities and what these organisations do. 

The Year 12 classes SNK, SAP and SSS went to Marvel Stadium in the first week of term, having a guided tour of their sporting areas and hospitality facilities.  Students interviewed the guide in order to find out the various jobs that are undertaken at Marvel Stadium.

Students have planned and participated in events relevant to the school community: Presentation Ball, Father’s Day Stall, a fish and chip lunch for the section and other smaller fundraising opportunities.  We are very proud of the efforts of the students who organised and ran the Athletics and Hamburger Day for the Primary campus on Monday.  We still have the Extreme Teams Christmas Market Year 12 Graduation later in the term.
