Lest We Forget

November 11 is a day observed in many countries around the world to remember the sacrifices people in service have made for their countries.

On this day, we pay our respect by observing one minute of silence at 11am (local time) to reflect on and to remember those who have served and died in all wars and conflicts as well as those who returned injured or ill.

The red poppy is the traditional emblem representing a symbol of remembrance and hope.

Happy Diwali

A very “Happy Diwali” to the Hindu community and many others who celebrate this festival.  Diwali (the Festival of lights) symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
