On 11th November we took part in Remembrance Day activities. In the morning, we listened to a Remembrance Day story and discussed what it was and its significance. We learned about the importance of the red poppies and why we have a minute of silence at 11am. We demonstrated this learning by creating our own Remembrance Day acrostic poems. After this we had the opportunity to complete a special liturgy, followed by the one minute of silence as a whole school, while the The Last Post bugle played in the background.
